Improved Supply Chain Security with an accredited certificate to ISO 28000
The accreditation by the German Accreditation Body DAkkS confirms the competence of DQS to evaluate and certify security management systems for the supply chain.
By introducing a security management system according to ISO 28000, companies increase reliability and security within the entire supply chain. By observing the standard, valuable goods or risk products can be stored, transported and distributed more securely around the world.
Behzad Sadegh, the ISO 28000 product manager who was responsible for the accreditation process, was very pleased with the result of the accreditation audit. „In the past few years, risk awareness surrounding safety aspects in the supply chain has increased significantly. Accordingly, we are seeing a strong upsurge in the demand for ISO 28000 certification. The expansion of our accreditation supports us in our mission to minimise risks in the supply chain through value-adding assessments.“
Soon after the accreditation process was completed, DQS was able to issue its first accredited ISO 28000 certificate. A certification audit at Symotion GmbH, the logistics subsidiary of Symrise AG, revealed that the company had implemented an effective security management system for the supply chain at their headquarters in Holzminden. We would like to congratulate the entire Symotion team on their success.
