Quality over the years - and today, in the new issue of DiD
Welcome to the 30 Year Anniversary Edition of the DQS Group Customer Journal DiD (DQS in Dialog), where we take a close look inside the newly revised standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, where our experts talk about “Organizational Knowledge”, “Risk-based thinking and action”, “Leadership and Commitment” as well as “Environmental Communication”.
An interview with the chairman of ISO/PC 283 shows what to expect from the soon-to-come ISO 45001. For those of you concerned with information security, read in here about how a certification to ISO 27001 can help you prevent security breaches. All of this is preceded by an interview with the German Institute for Standardization DIN, co-founder of DQS in 1985, who will first take you back to the beginning and then forward to a new understanding of quality. Details on standardization, ISO 50001 as well as an update on IRIS and BRC round off the “Standards” part of this issue.
Customer highlights include of course the certification of PepsiCo’s MOHA filling plants, as well as G&W South Africa’s latest achievement in the area of ISO 50001, which is mirrored by TMD Friction on the other side of the Atlantic. In Nigeria, the local DQS offices certified the local Bank of Industry, and in El Salvador FREPADE became one of the first local institutes to receive a certificate to ISO 29990, the international standard for learning service providers, ISO 29990.
