DQS CFS now Data Partner for GRI Database
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has chosen DQS as its new Data Partner for the Sustainability Disclosure Database. Drawing on its extensive network of contacts in the field of sustainability, DQS will be responsible for uploading new sustainability reports and keeping the database up to date. The partnership started on August 1, 2016 and covers all sustainability reports of organizations based in Germany.
The Sustainability Disclosure Database, managed by GRI and its local data partners, is the largest database for sustainability reports in the world. It currently holds around 35 000 reports from all over the globe and includes both GRI reports as well as non-GRI reports. Due to its advanced search functionalities, it is one of the main sources for sustainability information, used by investors, analysts and stakeholders all over the world.
Adding a report to the Sustainability Disclosure Database greatly increases visibility and is entirely free of charge. Organizations that have published a sustainability report can either add the report to the database themselves or leave this to DQS.
